Does Your Folding Machine Keep Jamming Linens? 4 Simple Ways for Smooth and Efficient Operation!
Alyssa/ October 25, 2025 Return
Are you annoyed by linen jams in your folding machine? Linens often wrap around the roller or clog the feed inlet, wasting time and risking machine damage. Fixing this is easy with a few simple tricks.
First, make sure linens are dry. Damp linens stick together and cause jams. Let them iron a little longer or hang them in a well-ventilated area to dry—only fold when they feel dry to the touch.
Sort carefully: pillowcases wrapped inside duvets or overly thick linens don’t match the machine’s operation, leading to jams easily.
If a jam happens, here’s a quick fix. Turn off the power, open the machine cover, and gently rotate the roller to pull out the linen. Use scissors to carefully cut the edges if it’s tightly tangled.
