Folding Machine Overheats and Alarms? 2 Key Tips for Safe Use for 10 Years!

Alyssa/ October 26, 2025  Return

Your folding machine suddenly lights up the overheating alarm—it won’t work and feels unsafe? Do these two things to avoid overheating and keep the machine safe for years.

First, maintain the bearings. Worn or dry bearings cause overheating. Turn off the power, open the side cover, and replace bearings if they’re stiff or worn. Add 3-4 drops of high-temperature lubricating oil if they move smoothly. Maintain every 3 months for longer bearing life.

Second, don’t overload the machine. The rated load is marked on the side—no more than 5 shirts at a time for home use, and 10 towels for commercial use. Avoid long continuous use; let it cool for 10 minutes every hour.

Are these methods easy to do? What other overheating issues have you had? Leave a comment, and I’ll analyze it!
