Hard to Clean Residues on Clothes Folding Machines? Use This Tool to Get It Done Easily Without Effort!
Alyssa/November 4,2025 Return
In factories where clothes folding machines are often used, fabric fibers, dust and other residues always accumulate in the machine’s gaps, chains and guide rails over time. Take UBL’s clothes folding machine as an example—if it is not cleaned for more than a month, the accumulated residues will affect the machine’s folding accuracy. They may also cause the machine’s parts to get stuck, which reduces work efficiency.

Cleaning the machine is also a troublesome and time-consuming task. Brushing the residues with a brush does not work, as the residues in the gaps cannot be reached at all. Wiping with a cloth is also not a good option, since the cloth is easy to get tangled in the machine’s parts. Later, cleaning the machine with an air gun is found to be a time-saving and efficient method. Choose an air gun that is specially made for the machine. The air pressure does not need to be too high—0.6-0.8Mpa is just right. This air pressure matches the air source requirements of UBL’s folding machines and will not damage the machine. Before using the air gun, be sure to unplug the machine’s power supply and open its protective cover so that the residues can be blown out smoothly.

Hold the air gun and aim it at the gaps, chains, guide rails and other parts that are easy to collect dust. Keep a certain distance from the machine and blow slowly, allowing the high-pressure air to blow away all the fibers and dust hidden inside. When blowing, a cloth can be held next to the machine to catch the residues and prevent dust from floating everywhere. After cleaning, wipe the surface of the machine with a dry cloth to ensure there is no residual dust left. It is recommended to clean the machine with an air gun once a week, especially for factories that often use folding machines to process clothes. Timely cleaning can reduce the accumulation of residues and extend the service life of the clothes folding machine. The air gun is easy to operate, and no complicated tools are needed. It only takes a few minutes to make the folding machine clean and work smoothly again.
