First, open the side cover to check the belt. Tighten it with the adjustment screw if it’s loose. Replace it with the same model if there are cracks or wear.

Next, check the gears. Clean dust and hair from the gear gaps with a brush, then add 2-3 drops of lubricating oil to reduce friction.

Finally, check for foreign objects. Coins or buttons from pockets might get stuck. Turn off the power, open the bottom debris box, and clean them out. Always check pockets before use.
